Ahead of Hajj 2025, 14 nations have their visas temporarily limited by Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has put temporary visa limits for 14 nations including Pakistan in preparation for the next Hajj season.
From February 1, 2025 onward, visitors from these countries will receive only singleentry 30day visas. During this time, multientry visas for corporate, leisure, or family trips will not be provided.
Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Yemen, Morocco, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and more countries suffer under this policy.
Saudi officials say these limitations are meant first of all to stop unpermitted efforts to carry out Hajj.
Some people used multientry visas in the past to get into the kingdom early and stay until Hajj without official permission, therefore causing congestion and logistical problems.
Travelers using business or family visit visas for illegal employment have also been found, hence breaking Saudi labor and visa rules.
Temporary these rules are, to be lifted by the middle of June 2025 before the end of the Hajj season.
Before arranging their travel, first check the most recent visa rules from your nearby Saudi embassy or consulate.
