Pakistan was fined several times for slow over rates during the New Zealand tour.

Adding to their onfield problems, the national cricket team of Pakistan has racked up a series of fines for slow over rates during their last meetings with New Zealand.

1st ODI: Napier among others
Letting for time allowances, Pakistan was two overs short in the first Napier game of the series. Consequently, the players were penalized 5% per over short, and the team was charged 10% of their match fees. Captain Babar Azam took the fine without protest.

Second OneDay International: Hamilton
Pakistan once more fell short in the next game at Hamilton, this time by one over, resulting in a 5% match fee penalty. Standin captain Mohammad Rizwan admitted the infraction and paid the fine.

Champions Trophy Opening: Karachi
At the National Stadium in Karachi in the Champions Trophy first, where Pakistan trailed once again one over behind the necessary minimum, the trend persisted. Again leading and embracing the decision, the ICC placed a 5% penalty on the players.

These repeat overrate infractions highlight a developing issue with team management and emphasize the criticality of improved time control in games to prevent more penalties.
